☆My college Life☆

It will become my treasure. My college life is so great. To be honest, I really didn’t want to study English at university because I hated English more than anything!  But I could spend a happy time and I had very good experiences. I would like to tell you about such a wonderful my college life.

Friendship Party

I planned Friendship party. A friendship party was held on June 11, 2010 at Pronto. We enjoyed talking, drinking and eating. I felt very happy when I saw my teachers and friends with happy faces. I hope you enjoyed having this party.

America

I went to America for short-term study abroad two years ago. This was my first time overseas. I could meet a nice host family. They were very kind and treated me like family. But I still regret that I couldn’t speak English very well and I couldn’t do anything for my host family. So I’m going to America for meeting again next month. I’ll be actively using English and I will do something to help them.

Australia

I went to Australia by myself last year. I studied English at language school a month. In Australia, I tried really hard talking English. I did my best everyday so I could make many foreign friends. I’m still contact with them.

Finally, there is a something I want to say. I’m thankful to my teachers and my friends. When I entered university, I didn’t know any English and hated English. But my teachers taught me that learning English is lots of fun. And my friends always help me. I like English now although I used to dislike. Thank you!

Disneyland vs. Disneysea

Have you ever been to Disney Resort? Disney Resort has 2 amusement parks. One is a Disneyland. The other is Disneysea. Disneyland and Disney is totally different. Concept is different. Disneyland’s concept is “ The Kingdom of Dreams and Magic（夢と魔法の王国）”. Disneysea’s concept is “Where Adventure and Imagination Set Sail(さあ、冒険とイマジネーションの国へ！)”. In my opinion, Disneyland targeted at children and Disneysea targeted at adult. Which is good?

First, I’ ll compare ”Attractions”. At Disneyland, There are many attractions. These are for children so It is not scary. Disneyland give children dream. At Disneysea, There are many scary attractions.  Most popular attraction is “Indiana Jones Adventure”.  This is a very attraction full of thrills.

Next, I’ll compare “Atmosphere”.  At Disneyland, Disenyland’s atmosphere is happy and cheerful. You can escape from reality.  At Disenysea, Disneysea’s atmosphere is romantic. You can relax. Disneysea for adults.

Finally, I will compare “Foods and Restaurant”. At Disneyland, most popular food is “Maple churros”. At Disneysea, most popular food is “Sea salt ice-cream”. According to website, Disneysea’s restaurant is tastier than Disneyland’s restaurant. In addition, you can drink alcohol at Disneysea.

Which is good? I think Disneysea is winner. At Disneyland, because you can drink alcohol, you can relax, you can eat delicious foods. I have no complaints about Disneysea. You have to go to Disneysea!

5 ways to be an early riser

What time did you get up this morning? Can you wake up early? If you are not good at waking up early, I will tell you how to wake up early. I can make you an early riser!

1. Switch your alarm to your favorite music.

Do you use a cellular phone to wake up? What sound do you use? Alarm sound? If you set an alarm sound, I recommend that you set your favorite music. Then, you will wake up with good feeling.

2. Avoid eating before going to bed

You should avoid eating before going to bed because your stomach needs rest. If you eat something, your brain will not rest. You have to rest your brain for sleeping.

3. Make reasons to get up in the morning

Do you have any reasons to get up in the morning? Maybe, you don’t have it. Why don’t you make plans you have to do in the morning? If you have reasons to get up in the morning, you must wake up.

4. Put your alarm clock far from your bed

Where do you put your alarm clock? Do you put it near your bed? You should put alarm clock far from your bed because if you put it far from your bed, you must get up to stop your alarm clock. Then, you will wake up naturally.

5. Open the curtains after waking up

Finally, I will tell you how to not fall asleep again. When you wake up in the morning, you should open the curtains first because sunlight is very important for waking up. According to scientist, when you bask in the sun, you will wake up easily.

Next, I would like to tell you how to get to Goemon.

Hiroshima SOGO is the place to start. First, you can see Shimin-Kyujyo on your right. Cross the crosswalk. Then, you will see Deodeo. Turn right and go straight. Then you will see an entrance of Shareo and down the stairs. You will see an import shop (Jupiter). Then you will see Goemon across the street from Jupiter.

OPEN (11:00am-10:30pm)

Finally, I would like to tell you the company policy.

It is not a normal pasta restaurant. Have you tried to eat spaghetti using chopsticks? Usually, we eat pasta with fork and spoon. But at this restaurant, we use chopsticks. In my opinion, using chopsticks to eat spaghetti may be weird but we can fell Japanese style atmosphere.

You want to eat Goemon pasta? I have few words of advice.

1,When you go during lunchtime, there will be a lot of people. You should go after 1:30pm.

2,They serve big-portions at this restaurant so you should be hungry when you go.

One of my hobbies is going to Miyajima. The photo here is of Miyajima, I go to Miyajima once a month with my friends because I like to be a guide for incoming tourists. I have met  many foreigners. For example, I met people who are Finnish, Australian, Canadian, and so on. Miyajima is a good place for meeting people. 

One of the famous things at Miyajima is Momiji-Manju. There are many different tastes. For example, cream, green tea, a sweet potato, and so on. They are all good. And I recommend that you try Agemomiji. It is fried Momiji-Manju and very popular. You should eat Agemomiji in the shop and you should get Momiji-Manju some to-go.

Next, I recommend that you try to climb Mt. Misen.Mt. Misen is situated in the center of Miyajima Island. You should climb Mt. Misen because when you arrive at the top of the mountain, you can see a wonderful view. You should then eat the Momiji-Manju you got to-go.

If you have time, you should go Miyajima Public Aquarium. But Miyajima Public Aquarium is closed for renovation right now. The aquarium will reopen August 2011. There are sea lions, penguins, otters and so on. The new aquarium will be more interactive than ever.

For these reasons, I recommend Miyajima. Miyajima makes you relax. You can breathe in fresh air at Misen. When you are stressed out with your life, you should go there. If you go to Miyajima, please tell me. Let’s go to Miyajima together.
